Nelligen Houseboat rapid response

"It was another rapid response by 6 members of the Nelligen RFS last night who turned out to assist NSW Ambulance extricate a patient who had been injured on a Houseboat on the Clyde River. "The Houseboat had transported the injured patient to the pontoon jetty on Wharf Street at about 10:30 last night where it was by met by crews from Ambulance (including the SouthCare Helicopter) and RFS (Nelligen, Batemans Bay and Deputy Group Captain). "Nelligen RFS demonstrated great teamwork in what was a challenging extrication caused by narrow doorways, steps and little space between the jetty and the water. The patient was loaded into the SouthCare helicopter and taken to Canberra Hospital where we wish them a speedy recovery. "Many thanks to Patrick, Beth, Nicole, Alan and Leonie for their great work last night".
