One of Council's upcoming projects is for new footpaths along Hawkins Road and Evans Road to extend the Tuross Head path network.
The length of Hawkins Road will get a 2.5 metre shared path along its southern edge, while a 1.5 metre footpath will be built on the eastern side of Evans Road.
Footpath construction should begin in May and will generally follow water-main renewal work currently underway. Weather permitting the footpaths should be finished in July.
They will be complemented by a planned raised crossing on Tuross Boulevarde and upgraded lighting, near the One Tree Point car park.
