Social bowls Tuesday 13 December
It was good to see social bowlers dressed in Christmas attire for the final day of Tuesday bowls for this year.
There were three rinks of triples and a game of pairs. The day started off with a 'spider' on the green when everyone tried to bowl for the prize. Teams then had fun attempting to comply with instructions including not placing the jack on the line, just leave it. Then some power plays followed by trying to hit kitty for bonus points. A lot of fun!
A lovely lunch was enjoyed after bowls. It was great to see some of our former bowlers join us to reminisce and catch up again.
The winning Lead for the day was Anne Hunter, Second Suzanne Dainer and Skip Jean Vos. Congratulations all. Jan Rapkins won the 50Club draw, a surprise to no one!
