The member for Gilmore Fiona Phillips has today welcomed the Federal Government’s announcement of local projects to be funded under the Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program.
“While this funding has been a very long time coming, I am pleased that the successful projects have finally been announced”, Fiona said.
“These are roads and community infrastructure projects that I have advocated for both within the community and with our local councils”, Fiona continued.
“Our communities have been through so much during the bushfires and bushfire recovery is ongoing. These important projects will go some way towards helping our communities recover”. Eurobodalla Shire Council received:
$150,000 for Pathways on Northcove Road Long Beach
$250,000 for Road Road Safety Works at Beach Road
$100,000 for Cody’s Bridge that needs to be replaced.
