Pigeon Racing for the SERPC Inc was on again on Saturday 17/7/23 with 2 seperate races from Cann River, Victoria. 5 members participated in both races with 165 pigeons entered in the first race and 161 entered in the second race. Winds were light NNW.
In the first race the winning pigeons travelled the distance about 76 kms an hour (1262 metres a minute) with Darcy Hoyer of Tilba Tilba first, Barbie & Mario Magrin of Wallaga Lake second and Manny Byrne of Mossy Point in 3rd.
In the second race the winning pigeons travelled the distance about 75 kms an hour (1255 metres a minute) with Barbie & Mario Magrin first followed by Manny Byrne and then Brett Anderson of Tathra in 3rd.
Next week racing is again from Cann River before progressing to Nowa Nowa, Victoria.
