A very exciting game was held on Thursday in the final of the Tuross Head Women’s Major Pairs championship.
The victors were our very talented bowler Carol Williams who was ably supported by Fran O’Connell who was substituting for Doreen Monks. Fran and Carol combined so well to take out the game against Jenny Madden and Marg Downey. The game was very close towards the end when Madden and Downey narrowed the margin at the end to three shots.
Congratulations to Carol and Doreen who are now the Club Major Pairs Champions and many thanks to Fran O’Connell who was such a worthy substitute for Doreen.
The next Club event will be the Club triples to be played in August. Several women are also playing in the Narooma carnival this weekend.
