Lady golfers feature in Tuross medley Saturday July 8 stableford golf
What an interesting day, a whole new course with wind like that. A good field of 66 players braved chapped lips and wind blown hair to play the game that frustrates.
Despite the conditions some great scores were recorded. One lady in the field Cathy Milliken streeted the lot with 41 points, it makes her the second lady winner of the Saturday medley since April. The golden shot jackpot on the 6th went off 0.51m to Col Houghton who picked up $167 for his effort.
Remember the AGM on 27 August so start thinking about a place on the committee as most of your old committee will be standing down.

A magnificent winters day and some great scores from a field of 48. For the first time there were more women golfers in the prizes than men, good to see.
It was a high scoring round with Ray Bollard winning with 41 points from Ladies Captain Elsa Shearer, Balls commenced at 37 points. Just to clarify NTP's for woman golfers. We are using grades again on the NTP's so your grade in the ladies handicap system applies.
As before it is the second shot for women on their par 4 16th.
