Tuross Head Country Club Medley Par Golf Saturday July 29th 2023

A brilliant winter day and some excellent scores. As the fairways harden up we have golfers wandering all over the place in pursuit of the running white ball as it attempts to make its way down to the lake.

Congratulations to Gavan Wheelahan for his second win on the trot on +4. Two of our lady golfers finished in the top five, a good result on a Saturday in a field of 65.

Well team this is my last hurrah as your Captain and the last interesting and amusing little note with the weekly results.

Play well, hit em long and straight and may your putts be true and few.

Tuross Head Country Club medley stableford Thursday July 27 2023

A great mid week field of 52 and a breakthrough win for Gavan Wheelahan on 39 points and one of the lady golfers in the prize money. Balls commenced at 34 points.

To clarify issues around the NTPs there is only one NTP per par 3 for both women and men.

The ladies handicaps on the NTP cards has been amended only for the medley rounds to try to better distribute NTP among women and men players.

We have been asked by green keepers to remind members to use the new cement path on the 7th and avoid driving around the sides and back of the green as it is compacting the ground severely.

Park your cart and walk to your ball to let the ground recover.
