About the role
Are you a dynamic community networker based in Batemans Bay? We have a new role available that will support FRRR’s Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program in the Batemans Bay area. If you have a can-do attitude, are attuned to community needs, have a deep understanding of capacity and capability building in a regional setting, and a drive to succeed, this could be the job for you.
This position will report directly to our IRCF South Coast Program Manager and will support the diversity of locally governed not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and work closely with First Nations organisations in the Batemans Bay community.
Your responsibilities will include the delivery of the Community Roadmap in Batemans Bay, working with locally governed NFPs to deliver projects aligned to the IRCF program, supporting the community to access additional resources, project managing the logistics of the Monitoring and Evaluation framework, providing trusted and reliable communication between the community and FRRR about ongoing and emerging needs and assisting with content creation and support work on the IRCF website.
This role ideally is .4FTE per week (two days) and will work from home and in the community. Initially, this role is a six-month contract with the opportunity to extend. You will need to have your own business and ABN and be able to demonstrate appropriate insurance protection.
