What to do with Bins full of water

BINS FULL OF WATER:

Council is aware that rubbish is piling up and have advised that residents should put all three bins out and wait for the kerbside collection.

THERE ARE STILL MANY BINS full of water placed on the kerb ready to fight ember attacks. If you see these please ensure their lids are OPEN so that truck drivers can see them.

FORTUNATELY THE LIFTING ARMS can not lift the weight of a bin full of water.

Tips: Surf Beach tip is closed due to fire impacts, Moruya Transfer Station is open, and Brou tip opens today Tuesday 7 January. Council advise: Residents who filled their bins with water to help firefighters should now empty them onto the grass or garden, and use their bins for waste, recycling or green waste. Please don’t leave bins filled with water on the kerb now that kerbside collection has recommenced.
